Ⅵ.Teaching Procedures
   StepⅠ
Greet the class as usual.
StepⅡ 1a  1b
     Teach the students to practice reading the words for describing people.
      Then ask students to match the pictures with words from the list.
      Listen and fill in the blanks in the conversation.
Step Ⅲ 1c
 1 Demonstrate a new conversation with another student.
 2 Then ask students to practice similar conversations in pairs.
 3 Ask different students to describe their friends and the rest to find them.
StepⅣ 2a
    Play a recording of three conversations.
    Students listen and circle “is” or “has”.
    Check the answers.
   StepⅥ. 2b 3
        1 Play the same recording again. Listen and write the descriptions of Sally and Pete in the chart.
        2 Go last answers.
        3 Complete the conversation with words to describe lily’s new friend.
        4 Check the answers by asking two students to read their completed conversation.
StepⅦ 3a   3b
     1 You’re to read the other three descriptions and match them to the correct pictures.
     2 Get students to do the activity individually.
     3 Work in pairs. Students B ask your partner questions to find the people.
   Step Ⅷ 4
         Ask different students to describe a person in the class while their classmates guess who it is.
  StepⅨ Summary
         Summary the information in section A.
StepⅩ Homework
      Have more practice after class.
